Order / reserve your chickens and turkeys NOW for pick up as noted below. Supplies are limited. If you want a Christmas turkey, we recommend buying fresh in the fall and freezing until needed. Quantities are limited.
$5.60 per lb. for chickens and turkeys, fresh or frozen.
Turkey weights range from 18 to 33 lbs. Please have a weight in mind when you call.

Killara Station is home to two types of chickens:

- Meat Birds, who are free range and well-cared for as they mature to an edible weight

A note from a happy customer …
I’ve been on a vegetarian diet for about a year and a half mainly because I wasn’t thrilled with what I was getting at the grocery store and I wanted to lessen the amount of meat that was in my diet. I’ve been busy and didn’t bother to check what was available at local markets. But for Thanksgiving I decided to look for pastured chicken since my girls were coming up (they’ve been eating a mainly vegetarian diet as well) and I picked up one of your chickens from McFaddens. OMG….so delicious, thank you, thank you. I’m so glad to know when I want the animal protein there is a reliable source right here in the county. I had soup tonight from the leftovers and bones…..great bone broth!
